Sergio Marchionne the executive of Fiat and Chrysler has announced his long-term plans for the Maserati. In order to boost sales for Chrysler in an attempt to keep the company afloat a lot of things are going to changing for the Maserati and the Fiat brand.

One of the ways that Marchionne plans to keep his businesses on top is by making a more affordable Maserati. I it is important to keep in mind that this is a cheaper Maserati, meaning it's still going to be pretty darn expensive. The current Maserati prices are around $115,000 and the new Maserati prices will be around $75,000. This is intended to up production but it still isn't going to make Maserati the new Camry anytime soon.

If you want to find out what else Sergio Marchionne has to say on keeping Chrysler afloat and making cheaper sports cars than check out Fiat Plots New Directions for Ferrari and Maserati by Stephen Williams.
