The Italian automaker Lamborghini has released a teaser photo of its new supercar, the Aventador, in advance of the Geneva Auto Show where it will be unveiled officially. The car pictured in the photo is covered in a black and white swirl print, designed to conceal the details of the new vehicle design during public road tests. The body is purportedly made with a lightweight carbon fiber, which should allow it to reach speeds of up to 217 mph, and the price tag pushes the limits as well, expected to exceed $300,000.

The leaked photo is likely part of part of a viral marketing tactic the company is using to create buzz around the new car. Ford and BMW have successfully followed similar strategies in the past, with Ford photos of the 2011 Explorer crossover where the car was only partially visible, and BMW's website dontblogaboutthis.com, to promote its plug-in hybrid sports car.
